How to get started in YouTube.

YouTube is a great tool to share, upload and embed videos to your blog. YouTube is one of the products from Google, therefore if you have a Gmail account you have a YouTube account.
If not the case, please create a Gmail account.
  1. Go to www.gmail.com.
  2. Click Create an account

YouTube gives you a space on the internet to host your videos.
Once you signed in onto your gmail account, go to YouTube.com or choose the application from the upper right menu on your gmail. If you are not signed in, YouTube will prompt you to your gmail credentials.

Going to your YouTube page.

Access your YouTube page by clicking your picture icon on the upper right corner.
Hit the Creator Studio button to get to your page dashboard.
On this page you are going to see all your videos.
You can edit them, change privacy settings and other features.
By clicking on the title of each, will prompt you to the live video page. There you get the share links or embedding code for your teaching online platform or blog.

How to embed video on your blog or teacher online platform.

Embedding a video is not the same as giving the share URL link. Embedding the video looks more elegant and it can be viewed without leaving your blog's page. It is inserted on your page instead of going to YouTube page which can be distracting.

To embed the video:
Go to your video page and below the video click on Share and click on Embed.
You will get a code to copy. This is an HTML code which will be copied to your page.
Copy the code then open your blog or online platform page where you want the video or create a New Page.
In Compose or Content, look for the HTML button or look for these tags < > on the editor. Click on it.
Once opened the HTML editor, paste the code.
Save or Update.
Go online and view the video embedded on your page.
